    A position exists in Information and Communication Technology for a permanent full-time Team Leader – Business Solutions.

    About the team

    Information and Communication Technology is responsible for the provision of ICT services across the organisation through business solutions, infrastructure/systems integration, spatial information systems, project management, internal ICT customer service and strategy delivery.

    Our team of ICT Professionals are passionate about working with new technologies and being on the leading edge of delivering change through quality ICT services. As part of our team you will inspire, advocate and champion the effective use of innovative technologies across the organisation.

    About the role:

    As the Team Leader - Business Solutions, you will:

    • lead a team that improves Council operations and services utilising digital based solutions.
    • manage a pipeline of technology initiatives through a portfolio management process.
    • architecture expertise with a focus on new ideas through technology transformation and evolution.
    • assist business partners to evaluate cost-benefit and ROI analyses and develop business cases for initiatives.

     Essential Criteria

    • A tertiary qualification in computer science, business or a relevant field
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organisational levels
    • A demonstrated quality approach to the design, architecture and deployment of solutions, with end-to-end requirements traceability and verification
    • Proven experience in delivery of software\digital projects
    • Demonstrated understanding of current and emerging information and communication technologies
    • Previous leadership experience

     Desirable Criteria

    • Experience local government related software
    • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics/CRM architecture, design and development
    • Experience in the preparation of system specifications and documentation
    • Experience with development system and user acceptance test plans
    • Organisational change management experience

    Commencing Salary: $105,300 per annum, plus 9.5% superannuation
