About the role
The position will play a pivotal role in the implementation of the Ripples Member Retention Strategy. Key duties include proactive program supervision to ensure the safety of staff and customers at all times, program prescription to a wide variety of customers and the development and delivery of the Group Fitness Timetable programs.
The purpose of this role is to positively engage with members in the Fitness Services Team and provide a holistic approach to fitness and development opportunities including programming.
Essential criteria
- Current AUSactive Professional Registration or equivalent
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- NSW Working with Children Check
Desirable criteria
- Aqua Aerobics/ WETS qualification
- Les Mills qualification
- Older Adults trainer qualification
- Children/Adolescents trainer qualification
- Strength & Conditioning Accreditation
Commencing salary: $27.74- $32.11 per hour, plus casual loading and $25.00 per hour instructor allowance where applicable
This position has been identified as a Child-Related position under Child Protection laws in NSW. To be eligible to apply, you are required to provide Council with a valid Working with Children Check Number.
This position requires the worker to be double vaccinated against COVID-19 or to hold a medical contraindication certificate.
