Here’s What You'll Be Up To…

As Head of Environment and Health, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping Penrith’s environmental future and safeguarding community health. Reporting to the Director of Planning & Regulatory Services, you will:

• Champion Natural Systems Management – Drive biodiversity strategies, stormwater improvement plans, and arboricultural best practice.
• Lead Environmental Management - Ensure sustainable development and manage environmental protection programs.
• Oversee Public Health Services - Deliver food safety, regulated systems, and health programs for our community.
• Direct the Regional Illegal Dumping Squad – Lead compliance and enforcement initiatives to protect our environment.
