About the role
The Events Project Officer works to support the day-to-day delivery and long term development of a broad range of events including flagship, regional and community celebrations, as well as events-related projects, policy and process improvements. The Events Project Officer assists in the delivery Council’s aspirations as identified in the Penrith Events Strategy.
This role is generalist in nature and can having changing portfolios over time. Current work plans will be focused on developing in partnership with others the delivery, marketing, promotion and logistics for a range of community events and activations in partnership with others. This role also leads the administration of Council’s local events grant program and will lead other event-related projects as directed by the Events Lead and Program Manager.
Essential criteria
Commencing salary: $90,063.00 - $104,251.00 per annum, plus 11.5% Superannuation.
