About the role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Development Assessment Planner or a Development Assessment Planner to join our team.
Candidates seeking consideration for the Development Assessment Planner position must have demonstrated practical experience in the assessment of development applications and satisfy the qualification requirements of the role. Candidates seeking consideration for the Graduate Development Assessment Planner do not require practical experience however the qualification requirements must still be met.
In this role you will be responsible for the assessment of a wide range of development proposals and subdivision certificates, assist with customer enquiries and gain invaluable professional development experience working within a multi-disciplinary assessment team.
While applicants are not expected to have experience presenting to Local Planning Panels, State and Regional Planning Panels or Urban Design Review Panels, applicants are encouraged to outline any experience or exposure they have had to these Panels within their application.
Applicants are also requested to specify in their application if they are seeking consideration for the Development Assessment Planner role or the Graduate Development Assessment Planner role.
Essential Criteria – Development Assessment Planner Position
- A tertiary qualification (or nearing completion) in Planning or relevant field
- Practical experience in the assessment and determination of a range of development applications and modification applications
- Proven ability in providing customer service, and planning advice and guidance
- Sound knowledge of Environmental Legislation relevant to NSW
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence
Essential Criteria – Graduate Development Assessment Planner Position
- A tertiary qualification (or nearing completion) in Planning
- Proven ability in providing customer service, and planning advice and guidance
- Sound knowledge of Environmental Legislation relevant to NSW
- Current Class C Driver’s Licence
Development Assessment Planner Salary Range: $90,063.00 - $104,251.00 per annum, plus 11.5% Superannuation
Graduate Development Assessment Planner Salary Range: $76,329.00 - $88,355.00 per annum, plus 11.5% Superannuation
