About the role
Temporary Full time opportunity for up to 2 years.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Functional Lead to join our ERP Project Team on a temporary full-time basis for a period of up to 2 years. The role will be responsible for supporting the overall ERP project team through the lens of Asset Management, discovering and realising end-to-end process improvements for the organisation through the effective use of the new system. In delivering business improvement projects and undertaking our service review program, to improve processes, and drive service efficiencies for our customers.
You will be joining a fun and results focused team who pride themselves on collaboration and teamwork to drive sustainable change across the organisation. The functional stream of our overall ERP project team is made of Business Analysts and Subject Matter Experts which includes process improvement and mapping, requirements gathering, design and implementation activities. You will also be supported by subject matter experts, business improvement specialists and change management.
We are passionate about improving business results for our customers and internal business units, while creating and leading a culture of continuous improvement Council-wide.
About you
To be successful in this role, you must have a can-do attitude, a desire to build relationships and be proactive in your approach to work. You’ll have a history of implementing improvement solutions in large organisations through discussion, collecting and interpreting data.
Essential criteria
- Tertiary qualification in Business Analysis, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in the preparation of system specifications and documentation.
- Demonstrated experience in interpreting business needs and implementing innovative solutions to transform business processes.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on achieving positive outcomes/results.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and liaise with staff across a range of functional areas, including proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Previous experience in end-to-end delivery and implementation of ERP systems
Desirable criteria
- Experience with the TechnologyOne software platform
- Outstanding engagement skills with the ability to manage up and down.
- Outcome focused with excellent time management skills.
- Tenacity to bring a 'can do delivery attitude' coupled with ability to lead functional teams to work through challenges.
Commencing salary: $125,617.00 per annum, plus 11.5% Superannuation.
You will be required to undertake employment checks, which may include a Criminal History Check, Qualification Check, Working with Children Check, Medical Declaration and/or a Functional Test, as relevant to the position for which you have applied. Where a Criminal History Check is required and has returned a result that indicates disclosable court outcomes, you will be required to provide a copy of the report to Penrith City Council, for review, in order to progress through the recruitment process.
