About the Role
The OSHC Team Leader plays a pivotal role in supporting the Cluster Director to deliver high quality, inclusive programs that meet the needs of children, families, and the community. Our roles offers split-shift hours, and the opportunity for flexibility as rosters may change.
You will collaborate closely with your team and leadership to ensure services operate smoothly, in line with local, state, and federal requirements.

What Your Day Will Involve
- Program Coordination & Planning - Deliver fun, creative and educational activities tailored to children’s interests.
- Team Leadership - Guide, mentor and support educators, ensuring teamwork and clear communication.
- Child Supervision & Wellbeing - Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for children aged 5-12.
- Compliance & Administration - Maintain records, ensure policies and regulations are met, and uphold high-quality standards.
What We Are Looking For (Essential Criteria)
- A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or a qualification (or working towards) in a relevant field (Childcare, Sport & Recreation, Youth Work, Social Sciences, Teaching, Community Services, Health).
- To be fun, energetic and passionate about working with young people.
- Responsible Person (RP) experience.
- Ability to innovate and contribute creative program ideas.
- A valid NSW Working with Children Check.
- A current First Aid Certificate including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
- Experience working with young people in a centre-based care setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Holds an LR licence or willingness to obtain
Desirable Criteria
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or actively working towards).
- Skills in behaviour support, conflict resolution, and inclusion strategies.
- Previous leadership experience in OSHC or children’s services.
- Flexibility to work across rotating split shifts with some full days (9-day fortnight).

Commencing salary: $83,341.00 - $96,471.00 +12% superannuation + Worker Retention %
