We currently have one Permanent Full Time position available to join our Member Engagement Team.
The role is 38 hours per week across the operational needs of the business, which may require weekend work.

Here's what you'll be up to.....
- Welcoming and support members providing friendly and reliable customer service
- Answering questions about memberships, classes, facilities, timetables, and prices - both in person and over the phone and email.
- Processing class bookings, court hire, swim sessions, memberships and handling payments accurately.
- Dealing calmly and professionally with complaints or issues, finding solutions, and knowing when to escalate.
- Promoting offers, classes, events or membership options that suit customer needs.
- Updating customer records, maintaining booking systems, and basic reporting.
- Working closely with other departments to ensure a consistent and positive experience at the centre.

The must-know bits
You will be required to undertake employment checks, which may include a Criminal History Check, Qualification Check, Working with Children Check, Medical Declaration and/or a Functional Test, as relevant to the position for which you have applied.
Where a Criminal History Check is required and has returned a result that indicates disclosable court outcomes, you will be required to provide a copy of the report to Penrith City Council, for review, to progress through the recruitment process.
