About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual for the position of Nursery Tradesperson based in our Nursery team. You will be employed on a permanent full-time basis.
You will be responsible for undertaking various horticultural tasks within a team focused environment associated with the operations of bulk materials and plant production nursery. You will be working closely with the Nursery Supervisor daily in performing operational work activities and ensuring the delivery of high standard outcomes.
This position will provide you with the perfect opportunity in building upon your skillset and experience while being mentored and supported by passionate industry professionals. This position operates on a 76-hour fortnight with a Rostered Day Off once a fortnight.
- Tertiary Cert III qualification in Horticulture, or a similar discipline, or near completion
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
- Knowledge of and commitment to WHS and EEO principles
- Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White) Card
- Pesticide Applicator Training AQF Level 3 or willingness to obtain
- Current class C Driver licence
- Previous production nursery experience
- Tertiary Cert III in Production Horticulture
- Demonstrated Experience in Loader Operation
- First Aid Certificate
Salary: The salary for this position ranges from $61,291.00 - $70,947.00 per annum, plus 10% Superannuation and an Adverse Working Conditions Allowance. Salary will be negotiated based on the skills, qualifications and experience of the preferred applicant.
This position requires the worker to be double vaccinated against COVID-19 or to hold a medical contraindication certificate.
